Wow

Ok - so correction on the previous post - Isla is trying to crawl. She is getting one knee up and pulling herself with her one arm - and she's getting there.

Also she has 7 teeth now, I'm not sure when it popped out but I just checked today and there it is. It looks like it has been there for a couple of days.

She's growing up too fast.

On the move

So Isla isn't crawling yet and it might be a little while before she does since she has figured out other ways to get to where she wants. She is a rolling, squirming machine. It's funny to watch - she can get across the room in no time. And she some how got that back pack on herself.
So we're still working on the taking a bottle and sleeping through the night - neither are going that well. She's been hit or miss at taking a bottle. We left her for a day and a half with Rob's parent in August and she took the bottle but now she's forgotten. I've been trying to give her one bottle every other day or more since there is no point of having a supply in the freezer if she's not going to take it.
As for sleeping through the night, we have been working at it for a week and it still the same. She wakes around 10:30 when I go to bed, so I have been feeding her thinking that should get her through the night - I mean she's not a small baby, she has reserves. But she's been waking up at 3:30 wide awake every night. It's so hard not to feed her since I know if I do she will be back to sleep in 15 mins. Instead I have been trying to sooth her and let her cry but that takes an hour before she's a sleep. Some nights she will then sleep til morning - others she up at 5am. It's a mind game every night - feed her now and I will get to go back to sleep now but if I can break her then I will get to sleep longer every night. Plus on top of it I don't want her to wake up Lilo.
Cross my finger she will break before I do :)
Otherwise she's a fun, happy, cute baby. She now has 6 teeth and starting to like to eat solids, peaches, zuchini, squash, green beans, banana, avacado, cabbage and carrots. I have been making my own food and freezing it. I made some earlier with veggies from the garden. I'll see how long I can keep it up.

So also on my plate is trying to potty train Lilo - fun. So we had a good day yesterday - no accidents - but today she just peed her pants and then 10 mins after I changed her she pooed. She's getting it slowly, she just gets busy and forgets.

This is Lilo after getting into the Halloween candy.

So that's my life right now :)

We won Best Costume

We went as Mexican wrestlers to the Jimmoween party last night. It was weird to be wearing spandex all night but they were fun costumes. Lilo thought she was a super hero so she had fun running around with her cape. Isla didn't mind the costume when we went out trick or treating but since she didn't nap well yesterday she was tired and grumpy at the party so she didn't last long. We brought both kids home after an hour or so to leave them for the night with a babysitter so we could back and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Here's Izzie and Lilo leaving our house for trick or treating.

Isla hanging out and enjoying the ride.
