Happy Birthday Isla

Can you believe Isla is 1 already. Her birthday was on Saturday but we had the party on Sunday. Since our other friend's little girl, Alexandra was born a week before Isla we decided to have their parties together.

We had it at indoor playground called Mega Fun. All the kids had a great time. We had the whole place to our self for 2 hours. The perfect length of time for the kids, and adults. We were able to bring in our own food and cakes.
Isla wasn't sure about the cupcake but destroyed it just the same. After all the food and playing was done we went back to our place with Rob's family and opened the presents. Lilo was very excited by all of Isla's new presents. Now she just has to realize that she has to share them with Isla.
Thanks everyone for the great gifts, both girls are enjoying them.

Happy Easter

The Easter bunny is coming tomorrow but I thought I'd update you all on the past few weeks.

Isla is officially walking, well at least 85% of the time. She is just trying to master getting back standing. If she has time she will try and stand up but if she's excited and trying to get somewhere fast and she falls on the way, then she'll just speed crawl there - like when Dad gets home from work, both girls need to run to great him.

Yesterday I just noticed that Isla has a molar cutting through, maybe that's why she's been biting us lately. She's also started pointing which is pretty cute.

Lilo started gymnastics the other week and loves it. It's funny to see all the different kids, she is definitely the more outgoing, crazy one - but not the worst :) She just has trouble sitting still, but she's so cute that she makes the other parents laugh.

Here's some pictures of the girls playing in the living room - Lilo had taken all the cushions off the couch, they had a blast. I love to watch them play together. Usually they are good together but they fight over Cherry, their one baby. They have others but for some reason she's her favorite. Here's a video of Isla walking with her - sorry for the bad light and it's sideways.
