Still no car

I'm sure many of you have heard about our car troubles coming home from Florida. If not here's the condensed version. In the middle of no where in South Carolina our engine cracks. We were lucky to be able to coast off the highway into a gas station where we waited in the heat for 2 hours for a tow truck. We ended up spending 2 days in Rock Hill, South Carolina waiting to hear what was wrong with our car and how long it would be to fix. We were told a week at least so we rented a car to drive home - 14 hours. Now, we have just found out that the new engine is still not in so it will be another week so hopefully next weekend Rob can drive down to pick it up (3 weeks later).
Not a fun way to end a trip.

Otherwise Florida was fun and hot. We went with our friends Kelly, Steve, Izzy and baby Kai. We spent most of the time in the pools at the resort. All the pools have zero entrance so the kids can just walk in. Isla loved that. Lilo and Izzy turned into fishes there. Lilo came back to her swim class a lot more comfortable putting her face in the water.

We also went to Disney one day, and wow, was it a hot day. We were melting, the kids were getting grumpy so we decided to leave for a nap and try to come back at night. It thunder showered as soon as we left and was just clearing up when we came back at night. It was nicer at night, much cooler and less busy (I'm sure the rain cleared a lot of people away). The lines were shorter and we got to see the night parade and fireworks.

So back home and we finally have some summer here - hot and muggy. I will post some pictures and a cute video of the girls watching the fireworks once I find the charger for the camera battery (it might be in S.C. still in our car since we could fit everything).

But here are 2 pictures that Rob took of the girls when they came to watch my softball game the other week. The girls were cheering me on, "Go Mommy, Go". It was very cute.
